Tropia, also known as strabismus, “crossed eyes,” or squint, is a condition where the eyes are consistently misaligned, each looking in a different direction. It can be classified based on the direction of misalignment:

· Esotropia – Eye turns inward

· Exotropia – Eye turns outward

· Hypertropia – Eye turns upward

· Hypotropia – Eye turns downward

· Cyclotropia – Eye rotates

Strabismus can be present from birth or develop later in life and may lead to:

· Double vision

· Eye strain

· Reduced depth perception

· Headaches

· Squinting
